REVIEW: ECOSTORE SHAMPOO + CONDITIONER RANGE - CARING FOR YOUR HAIR AND THE ENVIRONMENT

There are lots of things to think about when it comes to haircare and finding the right shampoo and conditioner is one of them. Finding the products for your hair is vitally important as this is the base for anything else you do to your hair like drying and styling and can alter your end results.

Ecostore products are made from plant based ingredients, has no parabens, and is designed to prevent hair breakage by gently cleansing the hair without stripping any unnecessary oils.  Also as there is no silicone, there is no product build up that can cause hair to look limp, dull and unhealthy.

Ecostore products are kind to the environment. Their shampoo and conditioner bottles are made from renewable sugarcane plastic, which is 100% recyclable and helps to reduce our carbon footprint. The ingredients used in their haircare are suitable for our septic tanks. If you have proper grey water systems in place, the wash water from your shower or bath can safely be re-used on your flower gardens, lawns and trees.

The Volumising Shampoo gently cleanses to protect against breakage and replenish fine hair, while building body and shine. The shampoo is transparent and has no colour. It does have a gorgeous natural fragrance of bergamot & orange that is simply divine. It lathers up nicely leaving hair feeling clean without the dry stripped feeling. Hair feels light and incredibly clean.  What's really nice is that my hair had the subtle fragrance of bergamot and orange for two days

The Volumising Conditioner is enriched with Argan and Avocado oils to protect and nourish fine hair, while building body and shine. The conditioner has a thick consistency, conditioning hair leaving it soft and tangle free.

Even though the conditioner is quite thick it didn't leave my hair heavy or limp instead it gave it body without any frizziness.

The Dry, Damaged & Coloured Hair Shampoo formulation uses a unique blend of ingredients to nourish and protect dry or chemically treated hair and help prevent colour fade.  It scent is the same as the other range, orange and bergamot.

I colour my hair every 6 weeks and my hair from mid to ends tends to get quite dry and I can often see split ends forming. The shampoo cleanses leaving scalp felling extremely clean and hair feeling soft even before applying conditioner.

The Dry, Damaged & Coloured Hair Conditioner has a unique blend of ingredients that help prevent tangles while adding body and shine and providing natural conditioning and protection.

Ensure you apply the conditioner mid to ends as it can be quite heavy for the roots. Hair is left feeling soft and healthy without any loss of body.

My personal tip, as the colouring at the roots is not as harsh as the ends I use both shampoos.  I use the volumising shampoo at the roots and the dry, damaged & colour care shampoo for mid to ends. This way I get the best of both!

Ecostore's shampoo and conditioner's retails all for $10.99 each.  Products are available at Chemist Warehouse, Priceline as well as on their online store shop.ecostore.com.au.

  1. I haven't heard of this haircare brand, but it sounds really nice and not too pricey. I'll have to look out for these next time I'm in Priceline xx
